A group of angry rioters throw a trash can and other debris at Soldiers with Multinational Battle Group-East during Operation Thunder Road IV March 17, at Camp Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny, Kosovo. The joint crowd-riot-control exercise allowed the team from MNBG-E to rehearse common tactics, techniques and procedures used to restore peace in the event of a real-world incident. During the exercise the Soldiers partnered with members of the Hungarian, German and Polish armed forces. U.S. and NATO forces have contributed to the United Nations-mandated peacekeeping mission in Kosovo since June 1999. (U.S. Army photo by: Staff Sgt.
