Soldiers of the Vermont National Guard's 86th Brigade Combat Team, currently training at Camp Atterbury Joint Maneuver Training Center, are participating in counter improvised explosive device training conducted by the 189th Infantry Division here. During this training event, Soldiers are shown simulations and put through multiple scenarios to help them use learned techniques to identify IEDs and the different procedures used to securely combat these threats in theater.
