82nd Combat Aviation Brigade

U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter from Company A, 2nd Battalion, 82nd Aviation Regiment lands at a combat outpost in Zabul province, Afghanistan, on a "care package" delivery mission to infantry Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 508th Infantry Regiment, 4th Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division. Blackhawk helicopters deployed to southern Afghanistan support air assault missions, movement of troops and cargo, MEDEVAC escort, and deliberate operations facilitating freedom of movement throughout the battle space.
