Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade

Al Asad is one of four sites supporting the Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve building partner capacity (BPC) mission. Training at the BPC sites focuses on basic combat skills and includes: military tactics, instruction in leadership, ethics, the law of war, land navigation, battlefield medicine, counter-sniper tactics, explosive hazard awareness training, infantry skills, small unit maneuvering and combined arms obstacle breaching.
