U.S. Marines with Combined Anti-Armor Team (CAAT), Weapons Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians with 1st EOD, Combat Logistics Battalion 1, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, arrange 81mm high explosive (HE) mortars on a demolition range at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Nov. 9, 2015. 1st EOD and the CAAT platoon prepare the mortars for a controlled detonation to rid these HE mortars that were deemed unserviceable by an ammo technician. These units are part of the ground combat elements of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve.
