A U.S. Army soldier helps explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technicians with 1st EOD, Combat Logistics Battalion 1, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, by setting unserviceable high explosive (HE) mortars on the ground on a demolition range at Al Asad Air Base, Iraq, Nov. 9, 2015. 1st EOD prepares the mortars for a controlled detonation to rid these HE mortars that were deemed unserviceable by an ammo technician. 1st EOD is an element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, in support of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve.
