A military memorial ceremony is taking place outdoors, likely at dusk or dawn, near a large red stone monument with a bronze plaque. A Navy officer in white dress uniform is rendering a salute while other military personnel in various service uniforms stand at attention beside him. Spectators and photographers observe the ceremony in the background.

151110-N-IU636-696 HONOLULU (Nov. 10, 2015) Adm. Harry B. Harris Jr., commander of U.S. Pacific Command, salutes the new war memorial plaque unveiled at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center in Honolulu during a war memorial plaque rededication ceremony. The ceremony served to remember, preserve and rededicate the center as a war memorial with the unveiling of a new memorial plaque. The original plaque is believed to have gone missing some time by 1970. On Sept. 12, 1964, the Neal S. Blaisdell Center, formerly the Honolulu International Center, was dedicated as a living memorial to all of Hawaii's war veterans and war dead.
