Sgt. David Danielson, a team leader with Company A, 2nd Battalion, 504th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division (Advise and Assist Brigade), operates his squad's radios at night while the squad assists Iraqi security forces at a traffic control point in east Al Anbar province, Iraq, Nov. 22, 2009. The paratroopers are monitoring vehicle-scanning explosives detection equipment deployed nearby to assist Iraqi security forces prevent the trafficking of arms and explosives prior to the national elections scheduled for February 2010.
