Lt. Gen. Frank G. Helmick, new XVIII Airborne Corps Commander, passes the historic corps colors to Gen. Charles C. Campbell during an Assumption of Command ceremony Nov. 19 at the Fort Bragg parade field. Helmick is coming from the Multi-National Security Transition Command-Iraq. He is replacing Lt. Gen. Lloyd Austin, who held the command for almost three years.
