151028-N-VR008-123 SAN DIEGO (Oct. 28, 2015) – Air Traffic Controlman 2nd Class Mark Valencourt performs chest compressions during a CPR certification course aboard the amphibious assault ship USS America (LHA 6). America is currently undergoing a post-shakedown availability (PSA) in which the ship’s crew and assigned contractors make improvements to the ship’s design.
