Hickam AFB, Hawaii, C-17 Globemaster III Airmen and San Diego, Calif., based Navy Mobile Unit 1 Sailors and contractors load dolphins from the U.S. Navy Mammals Program aboard a 535th Airlift Squadron, 15th Airlift Wing C-17 while at Hickam AFB, Hawaii, Nov. 7. The crew is taking the Sailors and dolphins to Noumea, New Caledonia, where they will participate in MINEX, which is a humanitarian exercise where U.S. Navy, French, Australian and New Zealand demolition crews will remove mines left over from WW II from the surrounding water of the area.
