Hickam AFB, Hawaii, C-17 Globemaster III Airmen and San Diego, Calif., based Navy Mobile Unit 1 Sailors and contractors from the U.S. Navy Marine Mammals Program talk and relax while aboard a 535th Airlift Squadron, 15th Airlift Wing C-17 Nov. 7. The crew is taking the Sailors and dolphins from the program to Noumea, New Caledonia, where they will participate in Lagoon MINEX 2009, which is a humanitarian project where U.S. Navy, French, Australian and New Zealand military personnel will remove mines left over from WW II from the surrounding water of the area.
