Iraqi army soldiers adjust a mortar system during a specialized training course at the Besmaya Range Complex, Iraq, Aug. 18, 2015. The three-week course is designed to teach the soldiers how to effectively use a variety of mortar systems in their fight against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant. To date, coalition forces have trained nearly 12,000 Iraqi security forces at building partner capacity sites across Iraq.
