Senior Airman Kenny Batallas, 374th Operations Support Squadron aircraft flight equipment technician, threads string through a needle to stitch a parachute section during Red Flag-Alaska at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Aug. 18, 2015. Each parachute is inspected for physical wear and tear every 30 days to ensure aircrew have equipment in good working condition.
