Allen, 21, a cavalry scout for M Troop, 4th Squadron, 2nd Stryker Cavalry Regiment (4/2 SCR) based in Vilseck, Germany, picks up spent brass after an early morning exercise at the Babadag Training Area in eastern Romania, Sept. 26. Soldiers of the 4/2 SCR trained side-by-side with Romanian troops of the 33rd Posada Mountain Battalion based out of Curtea de Arges, Romania, for Joint Task Force-East's third annual exercise to help build interoperability capabilities.
