Lithuanian Land Forces Soldiers assigned to the Grand Duchess Birutė Uhlan Battalion (BUB), carry a U.S. Army Soldier assigned to Dog Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 4th Infantry Division, who has suffered simulated battlefield injuries, between them toward a waiting UH-60M Black Hawk helicopter operated by B Company, 43rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, that has been called in for medical evacuation of casualties during exercise Uhlan Fury currently being held at the General Silvestras Zlikaliskas Training Area, Pabrade, Lithuania, Aug. 12, 2015. The three units are here training together as part of a larger, ongoing operation being conducted throughout Europe called Atlantic Resolve, a multinational mission meant to foster stronger bonds with NATO allies and enhance security in the region through sharing of tactical and technical capabilities.
