Lithuanian Land Forces Soldiers assigned to the Grand Duchess Birutė Uhlan Battalion (BUB), secure and then fire blank rounds from a High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) they captured from mock oppositional forces during exercise Uhlan Fury, a bilateral training mission the BUB is conducting with their NATO allies, Dog Company, 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 4th Infantry Division and B Company, 43rd Assault Helicopter Battalion, 3rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Infantry Division, held at the General Silvestras Zlikaliskas Training Area, Pabrade, Lithuania, Aug. 12, 2015. Uhlan Fury is part of a larger NATO operation being conducted throughout Europe called Atlantic Resolve, a multinational mission to strengthen the bonds of friendship and enhance security in the region.
