Col William Gray, the commander of 1st Combined Arms Battalion, 252nd Armor Regiment, during a July 18, 2015, visit in Mitrovica, Kosovo. Gray’s 1-252 Armor Regiment, a NCNG unit out of Fayetteville, N.C., is currently deployed to Kosovo under Multinational Battle Group-East, part of NATO’s peace support mission in the region.
