U.S. Marine Corps Cpl. Joel N. Frusti rests in early the morning July 12 after an aerial night assault during Hamel 15 in the Shoal Water Bay Training Area, Queensland, Australia. U.S. Marines, Soldiers and Airmen were inserted by helicopter and assaulted the objective under night vision capabilities. Frusti, alongside other Marines with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, was integrated into 3-509th Airborne Infantry Battalion companies during the exercise. Hamel 15 is a bilateral, combined arms exercise to improve U.S. and Australian relations.
