U.S. Marines work with U.S. airmen, soldiers and Australian soldiers June 19 after an airborne rehearsal at Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson for Talisman Sabre 15. The Marines are with 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company to provide joint terminal air control capabilities for the U.S. Army. Talisman Sabre is an exercise designed to improve U.S. and Australian combat training, readiness and interoperability. The service members are a part of the Pacific Command’s Combined Task Force 660.
