Petty Officer 3rd Class Jeremy Allgeyer, a crew member aboard the Coast Guard Cutter Anthony Petit which homeported in Ketchikan, Alaska, ties a knot to secure hoses that pump oil from the float arm assembly during an exercise Sept. 30. The float arm assembly is a section of the Vessel of Oppurtunity Oil Skimming System which helps pump oil from the surface of the ocean in the case of an oil spill.
