Cpl. Shane M. Walsh serves in a volleyball game July 2 at Torii Beach on Torii Station, Okinawa during the annual Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron-36 Beach Bash. The event provided MALS-36 Marines and their families the opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed environment through team building activities, such as volleyball, soccer and cardboard boat racing. Walsh, a Waimea, Hawaii, native, is a ground support equipment mechanic with MALS-36, Marine Aircraft Group-36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
