A man-sized cardboard boat rests in the grass July 2 at Torii Beach on Torii Station, Okinawa during the annual Marine Aviation Logistics Squadron-36 Beach Bash. The event provided MALS-36 Marines and their families the opportunity to get to know one another in a relaxed environment through team building activities. The bash’s main event was a man-sized cardboard boat competition, showcasing boats different work sections designed and constructed weeks prior to the competition.
