GULF OF ADEN (JULY 5, 2015) An MH-53E Super Stallion helicopter from the Greyhawks of Marine Medium-lift Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161 (Reinforced) departs the French amphibious assault ship BPC Dixmude (L9015). Essex is the flagship for the Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), and with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
