GULF OF ADEN (JULY 5, 2015) An MV-22B Osprey from the Greyhawks of Marine Medium-lift Tiltrotor Squadron (VMM) 161 (Reinforced) lands on the flight deck of the French amphibious assault ship BPC Dixmude (L9015) after takeoff from USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex is the flagship for the Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), and with the embarked 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
