James Cruz sings and plays the bass guitar for the Gavin DeGraw band during a free concert June 26 at the exchange complex on Camp Courtney, Okinawa. The event was organized by the Armed Forces Entertainment Group and hosted by Marine Corps Community Services. The concert drew an audience of approximately 1,000 service members, families and Okinawa residents. DeGraw’s band is best known for its platinum album, “Chariot”.
