A guitarist with the Gavin DeGraw band uses a distortion pedal board during a free concert June 26 at the exchange complex on Camp Courtney, Okinawa. The event was organized by the Armed Forces Entertainment Group and hosted by Marine Corps Community Services. The concert drew an audience of approximately 1,000 service members, families and Okinawa residents. DeGraw’s musical group is best known for their platinum album, “Chariot,” which was released in Jan. 2003.
