Sailors assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class Destroyer USS Gridley stand on the bow of the ship prior to connecting fuel lines with the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan during a fueling at sea evolution. Ronald Reagan conducts FAS as a training tool to help Sailors maintain proficiency in the evolution. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
