Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan watch as the Arleigh Burke-class Destroyer USS Gridley steams alongside the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan during a fuel at sea evolution. Ronald Reagan provided 5,000 gallons of fuel to Gridley during the two hour evolution. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
