Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan watch as the Arleigh Burke-class Destroyer USS Gridley steams alongside the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan for a fueling at sea. Ronald Reagan provided 5,000 gallons of fuel to Gridley during the evolution. Ronald Reagan is currently deployed to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility. Operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet are focused on reassuring regional partners of the United States' commitment to security, which promotes stability and global prosperity.
