Maj. Gen. J. D. Thurman, the commanding general of Multi-National Division -- Baghdad, calls on a 4th Infantry Division Soldier during the question-and-answer portion of the Secretary of the Army's visit to troops here Thursday. The Honorable Francis J. Harvey, Secretary of the Army since 2004, has made two trips to Iraq in six months to receive feedback from Soldiers about topics ranging from food quality, equipment shortages and progress with Iraqi troops. Harvey also plans to travel to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center in Germany to visit wounded troops.
