U.S. Army Africa Command Chaplain Col. Bill Phillips looks on as Umbutfo Swaziland Defence Force Chief Chaplain Sabelo Maseko offers the invocation to begin MEDFLAG 09 exercise's opening ceremony at the USDF Headquarters in Manzini, Swaziland, Aug. 3. MEDFLAG is a joint and combined military exercise that supports the U.S. Africa Command commander's Theater Security Cooperation strategy wherein USAFRICOM components send medical capabilities to African countries.
