Attendees ensure they have hearing protection before the start of an Artillery demonstration May 2 at the Cold Springs Multipurpose Range Complex, to witness Paladin crews firing 155 mm high explosive rounds. Artillerymen from 1st Battalion, 82nd Field Artillery Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, conducted the demonstration as part of the battalion’s Molly Pitcher Day. Families and community members got to see many of the tactical vehicles and pieces of equipment used in Army Artillery during the event.
