Staff Sgt. Nith Keo assists a student with Army interceptor body armor April 24 during career day at Pirtle Elementary School in Temple, Texas. Keo, a Soldier with Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, spoke about being an cavalry scout in the U.S. Army with third, fourth and fifth-graders at the school. The battalion is partnered with the elementary school as part of Fort Hood’s Adopt-a-School program.
