SAN ANTONIO – (April 22, 2015) Harlingen, Texas, native Operations Specialist 1st Class Adrian Marez of Navy Recruiting District San Antonio, along with Command Officer Cmdr. Mike Briggs and Command Trainer Senior Chief Navy Counselor Samuel Hickey interact with a student of Highlands High School after a performance by Navy Band Southwest’s rock band, The Destroyers, during Fiesta 2015. The band’s purpose was to spread Navy Awareness through Navy Recruiting Command’s Music for Recruiting program. Fiesta is the nation’s third largest of its kind, behind only Mardi Gras and the Rose Festival.
