Joshua Smith's NATO Meritorious Service Medal (Alpha Company, Allied Forces North Battalion) during the ceremony, NCIA CSSC building, JFC Brunssum, the Netherlands, April 7, 2015. Smith assigned to Alpha Company, Allied Forces North Battalion, is the first Junior Enlisted Army Soldier to receive this award. He distinguished himself while performing preventive and corrective maintenance on deployable Satellite Based Transmission Systems while supporting NATO operations in Kosovo and NATO Communications and Information Agency.
