150315-N-AD372-152 BUSAN, Republic of Korea (March 14, 2015) Cmdr. Matthew Kawas, commanding officer of USS Fort Worth (LCS 3), Admiral Choi, Yoon-hee, chairman of the Republic of Korea Joint Chiefs of Staff and Rear Adm. Lisa Franchetti, commander of U.S. Naval Forces Korea tour the ship during a port visit for exercise Foal Eagle 2015. Foal Eagle is a series of annual training events that are defense-oriented and designed to increase readiness and maintain stability on the Korean Peninsula while strengthening the ROK-U.S. alliance and promoting regional peace and stability. Fort Worth is on a 16-month rotational deployment in support of the U.S. Navy's strategic rebalance and is operating as part of the U.S. 7th Fleet across the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
