U.S. Army Reserve Spc. Ethan Berton, a signal support specialist with the 483rd Transportation Battalion, 650th Regional Support Group out of Vallejo, Calif., carries his M4 carbine toward the shooting range as part of the 311th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary) Best Warrior Competition 2015 held at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 6-8, 2015. The 311th hosted the competition with the goal of selecting its best warriors to compete at the next level at the 79th Sustainment Support Command Best Warrior Competition in May. BWC is a compilation of events that test basic Soldier skills, endurance and knowledge. Winners progressively face more intensive competition, ultimately determining the U.S. Army’s Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year.
