Bridges and Berton, both part of the 483rd Transportation Battalion, Vallejo, Calif., were awarded the title of 311th ESC Best Warrior 2015 in the non-commissioned officer and enlisted Soldier categories, respectively. Gomez and Enriquez were the runners-up, respectively. Bridges and Berton will go on to compete in the 79th Sustainment Support Command Best Warrior Competition 2015 in May. BWC is a compilation of events that test basic Soldier skills, endurance and knowledge. Winners progressively face more intensive competition, ultimately determining the U.S. Army’s Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year.
