U.S. Army Reserve Sgt. Erin Bridges and Spc. Ethan Berton pose with a congratulatory cake at the awards dinner for the 311th ESC Best Warrior Competition 2015 held at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., March 6-8, 2015. The two were awarded the title of 311th ESC Best Warrior 2015 in the noncommissioned officer and enlisted Soldier categories, respectively. Bridges is a transportation management coordinator with the 711th Transportation Company (SPOC) out of Vallejo, Calif. Berton is a signal support specialist with the 483rd Transportation Battalion, also in Vallejo, Calif. Both are part of the 650th Regional Support Group, Las Vegas, Nev. Bridges and Berton will go on to compete in the 79th Sustainment Support Command Best Warrior Competition 2015 in May. BWC is a compilation of events that test basic Soldier skills, endurance and knowledge. Winners progressively face more intensive competition, ultimately determining the U.S. Army’s Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year.
