An Emergency Disaster Trailer and volunteers from the Salvation Army provided lunch to those acting as simulated casualties during search and rescue training at the Choppee Regional Resource Center, Georgetown, S.C., for Vigilant Guard 2015. The Salvation Army also distributed snacks, drinks and food to other Soldiers and local and state authorities participating in the training in an effort to boost moral and show their support. Vigilant Guard is a series of federally funded disaster-response drills conducted by National Guard units working with federal, state and local emergency management agencies and first responders.
