PACIFIC OCEAN (March 2, 2015) Lance Cpl. Dan Moore (Left) and Cpl. Dustin Oliver with the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) Air Combat Element (ACE) position a rack of high-explosive guided bomb units (GBU) for mounting onto AV-8B Harriers aboard Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex is currently underway conducting a PHIBRON/MEU Integration (PMINT) training exercise with Amphibious Squadron THREE and 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
