PACIFIC OCEAN (March 2, 2015) Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Sam Simeon searches the night sky for possible air contacts while standing lookout watch aboard Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2). Essex is currently underway conducting a PHIBRON/MEU Integration (PMINT) training exercise with Amphibious Squadron THREE and 15th MEU in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
