Spc. Gary Carvalho, of the 181st Engineering Company, monitors traffic during at the Brigham Circle MBTA train stop as a part of continuing snow removal operations, Feb. 17. Dump trucks from the 181st were used to carry tons of snow to dumping grounds where it has been being flash-melted by turbine melters. “We got the call at 6 a.m. that we had a mission,” said Sgt. Joseph Dowling of the 181st, “and my Soldiers were in their trucks ready to go in less than 25 minutes.
