SAN DIEGO (Feb. 19, 2015) -- Serina N. Vandegrift, who commissioned the ship Nov. 24, 1984 and granddaughter of Gen. Alexander A. Vandegrift, receives flowers from Ens. Cordaress Chambers during the decommissioning of the Oliver Hazard Perry-class guided-missile frigate USS Vandegrift (FFG 48).
