Members of the Japanese Observer Exchange Program came to Marine Corps Air Station Futenma Feb. 6 to learn about the MV-22B Osprey. The JOEP members were given a class on the unique abilities of the Osprey and then given the chance to walk through the aircraft. JOEP is a program that gives members of the Japan Self Defense Force the opportunity to learn more about the U.S. Marine Corps and how it operates. The aircraft is with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl. Thor J.
