A Japanese Observer Exchange Program member looks at an MV-22B Osprey Feb. 6 during a static display of the aircraft on Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. A group of JOEP members, from the Japan Self Defense Force, learned about the Osprey’s capabilities and had the opportunity to walk through the aircraft. The Osprey has the unique abilities to fly like a fixed-wing aircraft and to land and take off vertically, like a helicopter. The aircraft is with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Cpl. Thor J.
