    A "Kaibil," a Guatemalan special forces soldier with the “Grupo Especial de Interdicción y Rescate,” or GEIR evaluates his shot group during a pistol marksmanship training event Jan. 28 in Poptun, Guatemala. Guatemala’s high crime and murder rates rank among the highest in the world. The GEIR is charged with bringing lasting security to the nation.
