A young Lithuanian tries out a .50-caliber machine gun mounted atop a Stryker Fighting Vehicle during a public engagement event in Pabrade, Lithuania, Nov. 9, 2014. Members of the 1st Squadron, 2nd Cavalry Regiment brought their vehicle and other equipment to the event, which coincided with Exercise Iron Sword, taking place at a nearby training area Nov. 2-14, 2014. The multinational exercise, organized by the Lithuanian Land Forces, involves more than 2,500 military personnel. The public event featured members of the nine NATO countries participating in the exercise, plus lots of military hardware, and gave local residents a chance to meet some of the Soldiers training in their area.
