The event was held during Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Approximately 300,000 women and 2,500 men tested positive for breast cancer in 2014, according to breastcancer.org, the official website for U.S. breast cancer statistics. One of eight women in the U.S. will develop cancer in their lifetime and one of 1,000 males will develop breast cancer, according to the site.
